Promium was born in the lab.

Why is that important to you? Because we share a common DNA. In a lot of ways, we are
a lot like you. In 1998, former chemists, analysts and lab managers assembled the components
of an information management system (LIMS).

That laboratory software system was commercialized as Element DataSystem. With a flexible, scalable technology platform, Element provides robust functionality at a fraction of the cost of more expensive custom-oriented systems on the market.

Most of the Promium team have worked in the laboratory and understand laboratory management
first-hand. We understand what it's like to manage a growing volume of samples and the frustration of compiling data-intensive manual reports. We've experienced the challenges of improving quality while decreasing turn-around time. And we appreciate the benefits and burdens of complying with changing government regulations.

We are proud of our roots in the lab and equally proud of the quality of our software and services. Today, Promium has thousands of users across North America and Asia. We understand the unique needs of small, mid-size and large laboratory networks that seek greater efficiency, more robust quality management and shorter turn-around times.
