Open Position: Implementer

Play a critical role in helping laboratories increase efficiency and strengthen quality by implementing Element LIMS. The primary responsibility for this position is to lead the successful implementation project.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding laboratory operations and expectations for LIMS software
  • Comprehensive understanding of Promium products and services
  • Strong skills in project management, client-server database management, networking, use of Microsoft Office applications, and SAP Crystal Reports
  • The ability to install the LIMS and integrate the software with laboratory operations
  • Conducting rigorous training regimen for users
  • Continuously improving the implementation process
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work with a team
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Successful independent work skills and management to efficiently support LIMS clients and Promium teams
  • Travel required

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience designing database-derived reports for laboratory analytical data
  • Microsoft Excel VBA experience for developing laboratory forms and data entry tables.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and an ability to discern and meet all of the customer’s needs.
  • Proven proficiency in developing and performing quantitative methodologies used in environmental testing laboratories.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge in EPA required quality assurance/quality control standards used in environmental analysis.
  • Ability to travel for business by air for multiple days per trip.
  • A degree from an accredited university in a science field, preferably chemistry, biology, environmental science, or pertinent work experience.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in an environmental testing laboratory, with QA experience a plus.
